Testo SuperResolution – the revolutionary technology
Thanks to the patent-pending SuperResolution technology, you can record extremely high-resolution infrared images (up to megapixel quality) with your Testo thermal imager. SuperResolution improves the usable, geometric resolution of the infrared image by a factor of 1.6 – with up to four times more measurement values. This means that more thermal information can be seen on each infrared image, and thermal measurements can be conducted in more detail and with more security.
Recognize more temperature measurement values on tiny structures and when recording from a great distance
In addition to this, the improvement in the quality of the recorded SuperResolution infrared image means in practice that the so-called "smallest measurable object" becomes considerably smaller, at the same distance between the thermographer and the measurement object: this allows even the tiniest structures of up to 0.07 mm to be recorded thermally (with Testo 890), or more measurement values and details to be seen from a great distance. Important: SuperResolution technology records real temperature measurement values, and does not extrapolate artificial intermediate values!
All Testo thermal imagers can be equipped with the SuperResolution technology
In all current thermal imagers, Testo offers the possibility of recording high-resolution thermographic images using the patent-pending SuperResolution technology. Even cameras which have already been delivered can be equipped with SuperResolution via a software update. SuperResolution is available for all current Testo thermal imagers.
