Function

The radioactive isotope with souce container VEGASOURCE 31 emits gamma rays. The VEGASOURCE 31 is mounted to the vessel or pipe, directly on the opposite side of the sensor. The source container shields the environment against the gamma rays and protects the radioactive isotope against mechanical or chemical damages. Two or more source containers are used with large measuring ranges.
