With the Testo alarm modem, the following Testo measuring instruments can be updated by the function „Remote connection“: Reference class: testo 400/650/950 and Measurement system testo 454 with Control unit. Your advantages in remote communication with the Testo alarm modem:

connection via GSM available almost everywhere
independant location: neither PC not network on site are necessary, only curerent supply and GSM net
alarms are automatically sent by SMS/e-mail/fax by the Testo alarm modem. Alarm triggers can be: limit value exceedances for measurement values, low battery status of the measuring instrument etc.
an event can be triggered in the Testo alarm modem by SMS, e.g. sending an SMS with the current measurement values to a pre-defined mobile number
remote readout and configuration of the Testo measuring instruments from a PC with the Hayes-compatible modem
